Table Tennis
CIS offers TT as a sport where students are exposed to various matches. A match consists of the best of any odd numbers of games, each game being won by the player who first reaches 11 points or who, after 10 points each, wins two clear points ahead. A point is scored when the server fails to make a good service, when either player fails to make a good return, or when either player commits a specified infraction (e.g., touches the playing surface with a free hand while the ball is in play).Service changes hands after every two points until 10-all is reached, when it changes after every subsequent point.
Chess
The game of chess holds a unique fascination. The strategic complexities offer lively minds an immediate challenge and stimulating exercise.Chess has many educational benefits, giving children Intellectual capital and transferable skills such as focus, discipline, concentration, spatial awareness and strategic thinking.
Carrom
Carrom is a tabletop game of Indian origin in which players flick discs, attempting to knock them to the corners of the board. The player enjoys the various benefits of playing this game like Speedy Thinking, Enhances the Capacity for Analytical Thought, A Sharper Focus, The Mind Sharpens, Improved Predictions etc.
Skating Ring
The school has a specialized Skating Ring where children master the fun-filled sport under the guidance of an experienced coach. The courtyard is equipped with support bars to ensure safety.
Badminton
Badminton is one of the most enjoyable racket games that is played by males & females which requires fast reaction and strength. It is played between two people or between two teams of doubles. Playing badminton is the best to remain physically fit and active. CIS offers 2 courts with international standard inside the campus. The matches are conducted with all categories single, double and regroups male and female athletes.
Taekwondo
Tae means "to Kick" or "Smash with the feet," Kwon implies "punching" or "destroying with the hand or fist," and Do means "way" or "method." Taekwondo thus, is the technique of unarmed combat for self defense that involves the skillful application of techniques that include punching, jumping kicks, blocks, dodges, etc. CIS provides sessions to its students as Taekwondo improves focus, concentration, and can increase self-confidence and self-esteem within kids. Through meditation, breathing exercises, discipline, and self-introspection, Taekwondo can help children become healthier in all aspects of their lives.
Yoga Studio
The CIS yoga classes help the students to practice yoga postures while learning about how yoga can be used to manage stress, improve the mind-body connection, and increase strength and flexibility.
Play Station
CIS provides a specific area for kids in a school designed for children to play in. It is equipped with various types of equipment and toys that children can use to explore, experiment, and have fun. Play stations provide opportunities for children to develop their social skills, learn new things, and stay active.
