Clubs

Students can choose to get associated with any of the clubs and societies in the School. Being involved in these groups, students get an opportunity to develop their communication, organizational and social skills which prove valuable in real world situations. The clubs and societies are headed and conducted by students, whereas the teachers facilitate the respective programmes.

The School engages its pupils with the following Clubs:

Community Engagement

The Extra Accolades Avenue offers an opportunity for community and social welfare. The students shall be offered an opportunity to work in the domain of social development such as promotion of literary, solar electrification, sustainability issues, working with Orphanage and Old People's Home on weekends and holidays. Participation in the project will be made voluntary and under parental supervision only.

Today’s students are leaders of tomorrow. It is our duty to prepare the students as compassionate and empathetic global citizens by helping them experience the real world and engaging with the wider community both inside and outside the School. Through our humble efforts, we try to build bridges between the ‘haves’ and the ‘have nots.’

Through this process, the students become aware of the needs and issues affecting our local and international communities. They learn about the ways in which communities respond and deal with social issues such as access to education, health care, gender parity and development.

The students are actively engaged with a village school just in the vicinity of the School, where they interact with the students and prepare them for various events like Sports Day, Children’s Day and many other festivals. We also contribute towards ‘Gau Chikatshalya Sansthaan’, an NGO which provides the medical care of left-out Cows.

Tour & Treks

We, at CIS, believe in travel as a mode of learning. With an encouraging regularity, various domestic tours and treks are organized and conducted. A tour may be academic, exploratory or adventurous in nature, and helps the student explore our wonderful world full of natural and manmade mysteries. Activities include Trekking, Camping, Rock Climbing, etc.
